Talking Heads Social Group has now CLOSED - Early 2020...

As of early 2020 - Talking Heads Social Group has now closed - however previous Co-ordinator, Sue Ross runs a Friendship Group (not related to Talking Heads) each month in a social setting at a café in Lee or Gosport.

Archived News from 2019 - Talking Heads Social Group

Talking Heads was an inclusive social group which was open to everyone of all ages with the main aim of reducing social isolation and encouraging inclusiveness. Groups were held regularly in Lee-on-the-Solent and Gosport, usually at Caffé Lee and Gosport Discovery Centre.

Group Meeting Updates...

  Monday 11th March 2019 - Talking Heads meet @Gosport Discovery Centre

The group had a lively meeting today at Gosport Discovery Centre, with Heloise and Chenin having a chat about dogs, then Rachel and a couple of others were looking at clothes together online and Brenda chatting with the only man who came to the group.
​We encourage both men and women and welcome any new members to the group each time we run a session.

  Monday 11th Febraury 2019 - Talking Heads Meeting at Caffé Lee

Talking Heads social group met with Heloise and David from the National Grid today - we discussed loneliness and identified the most 'at risk' areas in the local area by searching online. 
Group Co-ordinator, Sue Ross also taught the group some sign language...
