About Us
Give Gain Grow is a local community group - originally formed by Gosport Voluntary Action in 1998. The group is now self-sufficient and has a number of regular voluntary members and is managed by a committee of volunteers.
Give Gain Grow are aspiring to be a Neurodiverse-inclusive volunteer involving community group.
... What does 'Neurodiverse-inclusive' mean?
This means we are able to support those with different learning needs. This includes individuals with dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism and ADHD.
Our main Aim:
To help any member of the the community including vulnerable adults; those with disabilities, learning differences and/or mental health issues to meet in a safe, social and relexaed communal space allowing them to take part in various activities such as allotment gardening and other things members may find therapuetic and positive which can aid to their overall sense of well-being.
We run the Gosport Community Gardners Group: a group who do gardening and manual/physical work at our allotment at Rowner Allotment site, just off Green Crescent in Gosport on weekday afternoons - gardening can be a therapuetic way to help your overall sense of well-being.

... However, don't take our word for it though, meet two of our very own volunteers...
Meet Kerry (right) and Ian (left), pictured below - they both tell us in their own words, why they volunteer with Give Gain Grow:
Kerry volunteers because:
- He enjoys it - He likes planting, watering and tidying up. - He likes to see his friends - Working with Chris! (Chris was the previous Chair) |
Ian, Give Gain Grow Treasurer volunteers because:
- It gives him personal satisfaction - He likes to try and make a difference - A challenge as sometimes it may be and a new area for me to learn from and gain fundraising skills. |
